SWPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medallo City FCs Edwin Sanchez

LA MIRADA, CA (March 20, 2024) – Medallo City FC midfielder Edwin Sanchez has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Sanchez scored two goals as Medallo City FC earned a 3-0 victory over FC United Kingdom in a SoCal Premier League match at Portola Springs Community Park in Irvine, CA, on Sunday, March 17.

A graduate of El Dorado High School in Placentia, CA, Sanchez has three goals this season and four in two seasons for the club.

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
