2023-24 Briones Cup

GROUP STAGE

Thirty-two Southern California-based clubs participated in the Group Stage of the 2023-'24 Raul Briones Cup. Clubs were slotted into eight groups of four, with three matches do determine their fate moving forward in either the Briones Cup or the Brent Freeman Cup.

KNOCKOUT ROUNDS

Sixteen clubs advanced to the Knockout Rounds of the 2023-'24 Raul Briones Cup. Following the Group Stage in December, the Round of 16 was a single-elimination round. The quarterfinal and semifinal rounds are both two-legged, home-and-away matchups.

CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS

The 2023 Raul Briones Cup Championship Final and the 2023 Brent Freeman Friendship Cup Final are both slated for Sunday, May 19, at Al Barbour Field on the campus of Biola University in La Mirada, CA. The winner of the Briones Cup earns a spot in this summer's NISA Independent Cup tournament. The winner of the Freeman Cup wins free league entry for the 2024-'25 SoCal Premier League season.
