SoCal Premier D1 Recap: Christopher Ryan Nets Match Winner

PALM DESERT, CA (February 19, 2024) - Christopher Ryan has found his goal scoring boots with La Familia FC.

Helping keep the club's long winning streak alive, Ryan scored the match winner in 72nd minute as La Familia FC earned a 2-1 victory over Desert FC Reserves in a SoCal Premier League match on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Hovley Soccer Complex.

It's the sixth goal of the season for Ryan and the 10th consecutive win for La Familia FC (12-0-2 overall), which maintains its four-point lead on Ocelot FC 2 (10-2-3) at the top of the Division I Inland Empire Region table.

Also on Saturday, Southwest SC and Inland Empire FC played to a 1-1 draw at Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park in Temecula. On Sunday, Ocelot FC 2 scored early and often in a 7-1 win over Fontana Legacy FC at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex in Fontana.
