SoCal Premier D2-LA/IE Recap: Artesia DES FC Keeps Lobos FC Down

LA MIRADA, CA (February 20, 2025) - Lobos' chase isn't getting any easier.

Brian Cruz scored just after halftime but it wasn't enough as Lobos FC lost 2-1 to Artesia DES FC in a SoCal Premier League Men's 2nd Division match at Ross Middle School in Artesia, CA, on Sunday, Feb. 9.

It's the club's second loss in four matches and pulls Lobos FC (5-0-3 overall) into a tie for second place in the LA/IE Division.

On Saturday, Fontana Legacy FC was shutout for a third consecutive match in a 2-0 loss to Irvine FC Academy at Orange County Great Park.
