SoCal Premier D1 Recap: Real Sociedad O.C. Kick Off 2025 With Wins

IRVINE, CA (November 21, 2024) - The Royals are getting the kickstart they need.

Alfredo Arzate scored twice, and Ebrima Njie had another goal as Real Sociedad O.C. ran away with an 8-2 victory ove Olympiacos CA in a SoCal Premier League Men's 1st Division match at Orange County Great Park on Saturday, Jan. 18.

It's the second consecutive win to start 2025 for Real Sociedad O.C. (9-1-0 overall), which plays Sporting FC in the Raul Briones Cup Round of 14 beginning in February.

Also on Saturday, Oscar Garcia scored twice in the first half as Medallo City FC beat FC United Kingdom 5-1 at Orange County Great Park. On Sunday, Daniel Connell and Braidy Ba had goals as La Familia FC kept pace with a 2-0 victory over Buena Park FC at Portola Springs Community Park in Irvine, and Aaron Ibarra and Guillermo Correa Munoz had goals as Playmaker FC shut out Irvine FC Reserves FC at Orange County Great Park.
