SoCal Premier League Announces U.S. Army As Player Of The Week Sponsor

LA MIRADA, CA (January 7, 2025) – The SoCal Premier League (SCPL) is pleased to announce U.S. Army as its new Player of the Week sponsor.
 
U.S. Army emphasizes the importance of high levels of physical activity, and now is providing SoCal Premier League athletes with weekly prizes for winners of the ‘SCPL-U.S. Army Player of the Week’.
 
The ‘Player of The Week’ promotion is now in its third year, with a new winner announced each week from nominations from around the SoCal Premier League. Clubs may submit their Player of the Week nominees via email and social media.
 
Deadline for weekly submissions is 12 p.m. PT Monday. A weekly winner will be determined and announced each week during the regular season.
 
The selected club nominees will then have a chance to win prizes from U.S. Army.
 
SoCal Premier League Vice President Dennis Pope said, “The ‘Player of the Week’ has been a staple of our social media for a couple of years, and thanks to the generous support of U.S. Army, each weekly winner will receive prizes.”
 
In addition to the SoCal Premier League, U.S. Army is the exclusive presenting partner of the UFL professional American football league and also sponsors U.S. Army All-American program and Army World Class Athlete Program (WCAP).
 
The SoCal Premier League currently operates is five different counties across Southern California, servicing hundreds of players, coaches and employees.
