APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (June 27, 2022) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) announces Storm United FC as its newest member.

An ambitious side supported by one of Southern California’s most well-respected youth clubs, Storm United FC will join SoCal Premier Division 2 for the 2022/2023 season.

“We are excited to join the SWPL because of the connection to the NISA professional pyramid,” Team President Michael Zamora said. “It’s our goal to continue to provide great opportunities for our players at all levels.”

Created in a partnership between Apple Valley Storm SC and High Desert Futbol Club (UPSL) in 2018, Storm United FC has helped to elevate some of the best players in Southern California’s High Desert region. The team claimed the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) SoCal Division I championship in 2021.

Apple Valley Storm SC’s boys and girls teams have won numerous national titles through U.S. Club Soccer, and its teams participate in the SoCal League as well as State Cup and National Cup.
